Hello! Welcome to 4th grade!
A little about me: I began my career as a teacher in DPS eleven years ago and have been fortunate to have spent all them at McKinley-Thatcher. I have taught multi-age and single grade classes of 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. Teaching reading and science are my passion. I love the challenge and responsibility of helping students learn and grow!
I earned my teaching license and bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Colorado Denver. I am inspired by the opportunity teaching offers to evolve continually and challenge the way things are done in order to make learning more meaningful for kids.
At home, I'm mom to Jackson and Norah (and to Ruger, our yellow lab). My husband, Nate, and I enjoy taking our family on trips to see new places and to explore more of Colorado.
